RTE Lakshadweep Admission 2025-26 PDF: The Lakshadweep RTE School Admission List for the academic year 2025-26 is available in PDF format. In accordance with the RTE Act of 2009, a crucial legislation in the realm of education, all states and Union Territories are mandated to implement the ‘Right to Free and Compulsory Education’ policy in unaided private schools annually.
Under the provisions of the RTE Act, private schools are compelled to set aside 25 percent of their seats for students coming from socially disadvantaged and economically underprivileged backgrounds. Specifically, private schools must reserve 25% of their seats at the entry level, encompassing Lower Kindergarten (LKG) and Class I, for children belonging to economically and socially marginalized segments of society. Furthermore, priority is given by the state government to children of conservancy workers, individuals impacted by HIV, persons with disabilities, and orphaned children during the admissions process under the RTE Act.
The admission process should commence through official notifications, allowing sufficient time for online applications to be submitted for enrollment in the nearest private school. Additionally, the selection process should be carried out transparently, potentially utilizing a Draw of Lots system. Subsequent to this selection process, the outcomes should be disclosed publicly by posting the list of accepted candidates on the school notice board and publishing the information on the school’s official website, which includes the names and roll numbers of all successful applicants.
