RTE Jammu and Kashmir Admission 2025-2026: Application Form, Notification Out Soon!!!!
RTE Jammu and Kashmir Admission 2025-26 PDF: The Jammu and Kashmir RTE School Admission List for the academic year 2025-26 is a requirement set forth by the Right to Education (RTE) Act of 2009. This legislation mandates that unaided private schools across all states and Union Territories must comply with the provision of ‘Right to Free and Compulsory Education’ annually. According to this law, private schools are obligated to reserve 25% of their total seats for students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Under the RTE Act, private schools are specifically instructed to set aside a quarter of their seats at the entry level, encompassing classes such as LKG and Class I, for children belonging to economically and socially marginalized segments of society. State authorities also prioritize the admission of children falling under certain categories, including conservancy workers, individuals affected by HIV, persons with disabilities, and orphans, as part of the RTE admissions framework.
The admission procedure is initiated through a public announcement, allowing ample time for interested applicants to submit their applications online to their nearest private school. It is imperative that the selection process is conducted transparently and impartially, potentially employing a Draw of Lots mechanism. Subsequently, the outcomes of the admission process must be prominently displayed on the school notice board and published on the institution’s official website, featuring the names of all applicants along with their respective roll numbers.
