Dearness Allowance for KVS Teachers and Staff
The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, a well-known educational body, has recently announced an important update regarding staff compensation. Starting from January 1, 2024, all teaching and non-teaching personnel within the KVS framework will benefit from a notable increase in their pay. A substantial 50% Dearness Allowance has been authorized for every employee, irrespective of their position in the organization.
This additional allowance will be based on 50% of the respective Basic salary, ensuring equitable compensation across all employee categories in KVS. To ease any financial burden, the Dearness Allowance for January and February will be provided as arrears, while the allowance for March will be included in the next salary payment.
