HSRP Number Plate Rajasthan 2024: Fitment Procedure
The procedure of fitment of High Security Registration Plates (HSRP) involves several key components. Firstly, the fitment includes the registration number plate (HSRP) itself, which is a specialized, tamper-proof plate with various security features. These features include a chromium-based hologram and a unique laser-branded identification number. The HSRP is securely affixed to the vehicle using non-removable and non-reusable snap locks. Additionally, the fitment of HSRP also includes the installation of a third registration plate in the form of color-coded stickers.
These self-destructive chromium-based hologram stickers are placed on the inner side of the left-hand corner of the vehicle’s windshield. The color backgrounds of these stickers vary according to the type of fuel used by the vehicle. For example, diesel vehicles have stickers with an orange background, petrol and CNG vehicles have light blue backgrounds, and vehicles using other fuels have grey backgrounds. Furthermore, the third registration plate includes a 1 cm green strip to indicate compliance with the necessary regulations.
