This includes possessing a full-time Diploma in Engineering or Technology issued by a State Council or Board of Technical Education recognized by the State Government in the appropriate field, a full-time Diploma in Engineering or Technology from a University in the relevant area, or a Diploma in Engineering and Technology from an institution acknowledged as equivalent to these qualifications by either the State or Central Government.

The Board of Apprenticeship Training (SR) is tasked with compiling a roster of chosen candidates based on the online applications received. The selection process will hinge on the percentage of marks attained in the pertinent core qualification for each specific discipline. Candidates who make the shortlist will be notified via the email addresses they have submitted. Those selected are required to participate in a Certificate Verification session at the designated TANGEDCO office.
