We are on the lookout for Category – I Graduate Apprentices specializing in Engineering and Technology, particularly within Mechanical and Automobile Engineering. There are 18 apprenticeship positions up for grabs. Each apprentice will receive a monthly stipend of Rs.9000, offering essential financial assistance throughout their training. This program spans one year, allowing apprentices to acquire significant practical skills in their selected disciplines.

In addition, Category-II Diploma (Technician) Apprentices in Engineering and Technology are welcomed, focusing on Mechanical or Automobile Engineering. There are 61 apprenticeship spots available for eager learners. Throughout their training, apprentices will earn a monthly stipend of Rs.8000 to aid in their educational journey. The training program is designed to last one year, giving apprentices ample opportunity to gather hands-on experience and deepen their understanding in their field of choice.

For Category I, Graduate Apprentices must have a full-time degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized statutory university in their specific field. Alternatively, they may hold a degree from an institution authorized to confer such degrees by an Act of Parliament, or have passed a graduate examination from professional bodies that the State or Central Government acknowledges as equivalent to these qualifications.

In contrast, Category II Technician (Diploma) Apprentices are required to possess a full-time diploma in Engineering or Technology issued by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by the State Government in the relevant area. They may also qualify with a full-time diploma in Engineering or Technology from a university in the pertinent discipline, or hold a diploma from an institution recognized by the State or Central Government as equivalent to the previously mentioned qualifications.

TNMVMD Apprentice Recruitment Selection Procedure 2024

The Board of Apprenticeship Training (SR) is tasked with compiling a shortlist based on the details provided in the online applications. Selection will be determined by the percentage of marks obtained in the necessary basic qualifications pertinent to each discipline. Candidates who make the shortlist will be notified via their registered email. It is mandatory for these shortlisted individuals to participate in a Certificate Verification session at TNMVMD in Chennai.

If you’re a student who has already signed up on the previous National Web Portal (www.mhrdnats.gov.in) and have your login details handy, please type “A.”

Step 1:

  • a. Visit the website at https://nats.education.gov.in
  • b. Select the option for Students
  • c. Click on Student login
  • d. Hit the Forgot Password link
  • e. Enter your registered email address to obtain the activation link and reset your password.

Step 2:

  • a. Log in as a student
  • b. Provide your registered email and set a new password
  • c. Complete the application form
  • d. Each student will receive a unique Enrollment number (12 digits).
  • After finishing the enrollment process on the new portal migration:
